A record harvest from the school garden
Reception pulled up forty kilos of potatoes — and chef Tom turned them into the best wedges we’ve ever had.

Reception have been busy in the school garden since September — and last week they pulled up the biggest potato harvest we’ve ever had.
Forty kilos and counting
Every child dug, weighed and counted their own potatoes. We made a giant bar chart in the classroom and learned that one plant can grow more than twenty potatoes.
Chef Tom turned the harvest into wedges for the whole school on Friday. The verdict from the dinner hall: the best ever.
